Iron Gwazi is North America's tallest and the world's fastest and steepest hybrid coaster. The ride plunges guests from a 206-foot-talk peak, down a 91-degree drop. The ride reaches top speeds of 76 mph. Iron Gwazi has over a dozen airtime moments and three inversions. It was awarded the “Golden Ticket Award” for “best new roller coaster” by Amusement Today. Meyer Associates provided Architecture and structural engineering services (MEP and civil was through the park). Scope included multiple drawing packages for selective site and building demolition, selective ride demolition, renovations to the loading building, photo building, control/electrical building, and maintenance building. Scope also included new railings systems and other work as required to retrofit for new ride interface.
