Kangaloom at Walkabout Way

Busch Gardens Tampa

The Kangaloom kangaroo and wallaby habitat and petting area was created from an unused portion of the park that was once a part of the original Bird Gardens area. The project consisted of clearing of the existing land and creation of a new walking path, seating areas, animal habitats, a new retail and entrance building, a new exit building, new animal habitat shade structures, new animal night houses and new overlooks to the existing pond area. Meyer Associates provided architecture and engineering for this project, as well as concept and theming design.
