Mr. Meyer has 37 years experience in Architecture and planning. Prior to starting Meyer Associates in 2002, Mr. Meyer was with Cooper Johnson Smith Architects (CJSA) for eight years as an Associate Principal with the firm. Prior to joining CJSA, Mr. Meyer was with RBK Architects of Tampa for eight years as an Associate of the firm.

Past Professional Experience-Selected Previous Experience as Project Manager prior to Starting Meyer Associates:
Disney Wilderness Preserve Conservation Learning Center for The Nature Conservancy and Walt Disney Imagineering (Osceola County, Florida): Mr. Meyer was Project Manager for this multi-building project. It included offices, laboratories, conferences rooms and exhibit space for an environmental education and administrative facility on a 10,500 acre nature preserve. The primary goals of the project were to utilize the best of sustainable design and green architecture concepts. The project, located in an existing wildlife preserve has been published in numerous magazines, and has received public acclaim and awards for its sustainable design. Marriott’s Summit Watch at Park City for Marriott Vacation Club International (Park City, Utah): Mr. Meyer was Project Manager for this 287,000 SF, $30 million multi-story, multi-building commercial and residential ski-resort project in a National Historic District in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. Mary R. Grizzle State Office Building for State of Florida, Dept. of Management Services (Largo, FL): Mr. Meyer was Project Manager for this 153,000 S.F. multi-story office building, including offices for HRS, DOC and other State Agencies. (While with RBK Architects)
Church of Latter Day Saints Computer Data Center; Salt Lake City, UT; 60,000 S.F. Complete gutting and retrofit of an existing building into a Computer Data Center and Office Facility. This facility was designed to house two supercomputers and D.A.S.D. to handle the Church’s Family History (genealogical) information. (While with RBK Architects.)
Frontier Communications Data Center (Formerly GTE Data Services Megacenter North); Fort Wayne, IN; This project included the addition of 100,000 SF of raised flooring/D.A.S.D., new redundant power and chilled water cooling system, and a new additional floor of offices added to the top of an existing operational administration building. (While with RBK Architects.)
Idlewild Baptist Church, Tampa, FL; Mr. Meyer was the Project Manager for this 90,000 SF project which included a 2,200 seat sanctuary, a large educational facility and offices. (While with RBK Architects.) Note: This is now the campus for Carrollwood Day School; Meyer Associates was architect for this retrofit project when it was renovated from the church building into the school.
Morton Plant Ambulatory Surgery Center and Office Building (Now Baycare Outpatient Center); Pinellas County, FL; Meyer Meyer was Project Manager for this four story 60,000 SF building for Morton Plant Hospital. Project included surgery and ancillary services, radiology and MRI, and medical offices. (While with RBK Architects)
